Parts handling

Handling could involve, for example, the interconnection of a number of milling machines, lathes, grinding machines, gear-cutting machines, laser machines and processing centres from manufacturers such as TRUMPF, Schuler, Grob, MAG, Hermle, DMG, SW, Chiron, Walter, Lauffer, Index, Körber/Schleifring, Heller, EMAG and Gildemeister.

Benefit from our "pick and place" applications with robotic cells or linear axis gantries that pick up parts with the aid of grippers and place them in their destination location. Depending on the required positioning accuracy and type of part-feeding system, it is also possible to use our bin-picking cells with 3D parts recognition.

To optimise the interconnection of numerous production machines, we frequently use a number of robotic cells and linear axis gantries. Inter-communication between the robots themselves and the various production machines and possibly the connection of the facility to a production control system is facilitated via a coordinating controller. For health and safety reasons, we also implement sophisticated safety concepts based on risk analysis via an SPS safety controller.
